Meet Crystalee and Baby Mylo
With one child just starting college and a toddler at home, Crystalee is a mom who keeps the household going with fresh, healthy food from Connecticut Foodshare mobile pantries.
Her family appreciates the savings at a time when the cost of groceries and everything else continues to rise. Mom and kids look forward to “The juice, the fruits, vegetables and bread are always great. When they do have the meat, that's good too.”
Even 16-month-old Mylo tries the new foods mom picks up at the pantry. “I'm not too picky and neither are my kids. We're good!”
She expresses her gratitude for the donors who make it possible to support over 25,000 households each month through the mobile pantries.
“Thank you for everything, honestly. Thank you so much! We wouldn’t be able to get the help if it wasn’t for the donors. They are definitely helping. We appreciate it!”
