Statement from Connecticut Foodshare Regarding Government Shutdown

While we do not yet know the scope or duration of this government shutdown, we do know it will mean more people in Connecticut may need our support.

Connecticut Foodshare will be here for our neighbors across the state as we were during the 2019 partial shutdown and the COVID-19 pandemic. Together with our agency partners and dedicated volunteers, we stand ready to respond to increased need across the state. 

We remain hopeful that Congress will act quickly to reach a resolution.
