New initiative turns solar education into meals for families in need
Connecticut - Connecticut Foodshare is proud to announce a new partnership with Trinity Solar, joining forces to help address food insecurity across the state. This collaboration provides Connecticut residents with an opportunity to learn how solar can help them reduce utility costs, while directly supporting Connecticut Foodshare’s mission to provide nutritious meals to individuals and families facing hunger.
Through this partnership, Trinity Solar will make a
$100 contribution to Connecticut Foodshare for every completed, no-obligation solar consultation. With Connecticut Foodshare’s ability to provide
2 meals for every $1, each consultation can help provide up to
200 meals to Connecticut families in need.
For homeowners who decide to move forward with a solar installation through Trinity, an additional
$1,000 contribution will be made to Connecticut Foodshare, creating an even greater impact.
